ADHD Assessment

Adult assessment combining clinical interview, validated questionnaires, and childhood history.

Notes, planning, and routines

Overview

Adult ADHD often looks different from childhood โ€” concentration difficulties, inner restlessness, chronic lateness, frustration over unfinished tasks. The assessment maps whether the picture is consistent with ADHD, and what may overlap with stress, sleep difficulties, or mood concerns.

Who is this for?

  • You have struggled with concentration, structure, or impulsivity since childhood.
  • Family or friends have raised the question of ADHD.
  • You want a thorough, specialist-led assessment.

How it works

  1. 01

    Questionnaires

You complete validated questionnaires in advance.

  2. 02

    Clinical interview

We review childhood and adult functioning, plus possible overlapping conditions.

  3. 03

    Feedback

You receive structured feedback and a plan for next steps.

Our approach

An ADHD diagnosis is not a label โ€” it is a working understanding that helps you build structure and make sound choices going forward.

Frequently asked

Do you treat ADHD, depression, and anxiety?
Yes. We provide specialist assessment and treatment for ADHD, depression, anxiety disorders, impulse-control concerns, and general adult psychiatry. Each treatment plan is personalised to your specific needs and circumstances.
What happens in a first consultation?
Your first consultation is a thorough assessment โ€” about 60 minutes. We discuss your symptoms, personal history, and goals. This helps us understand your situation and recommend the most suitable treatment path. There is no pressure to commit to ongoing sessions after the first meeting.
Do you accept health insurance?
MareSante does not receive government subsidies, so sessions are fully paid by patients. However, many private health insurance plans cover psychiatric consultations. We recommend checking with your insurance provider about coverage for private psychiatric care in Norway before your first appointment.
